Learning outcomes
Students acquire the ability to communicate in practice in another (English) language in their specialty; prepare students for natural communication in oral and written forms, interpersonal interaction skills.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Operate the knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of the "Foreign Language" course at the minimum sufficient level A1 according to the CEFR.
Course content
The academic discipline "Foreign Language" is taught in the amount of 17 ECTS credits: in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the 1st year in the amount of 4 ECTS credits each, in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters of the 2nd and 3rd years - in the amount of 2 ECTS credits each, in the 7th semester of the 4th year - in the amount of 1 ECTS credit. The discipline is completed in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters with a credit in each semester and in the 7th semester - with an exam.
The learning model is cyclical and thematic in nature.

Assessment methods and criteria
Classes in semesters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are conducted in the form of practical classes. The discipline ends with a test.
Classes in semester 7 are conducted in the form of practical classes. The discipline ends with an exam.
Semester assessment: the number of points that a student receives during the semester is the sum of the points that were obtained when assessing work in practical classes and performing tests.
Organization of assessment: Work in practical classes is assessed by performance, in accordance with the schedule of practical classes. Tests are conducted in the form of a test.
