Identify the main characteristics, processes,
history and composition of the Earth as a planetary system and its
geospheres (PLO6)
Be able to perform research on the atmosphere and

Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of a course in physics, mathematics, general meteorology,
atmospheric thermodynamics.
2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of meteorology, laws of physics, in particular atmospheric physics
of the atmosphere, the ability to establish cause and effect relationships between phenomena and
processes occurring in the atmosphere. Knowledge of the basic laws and
laws of modern theoretical meteorology.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of

consists of two content modules.
The first module - "Atmospheric composition. Atmospheric statics" covers

The second module is "Atmospheric dynamics. Thermal state of the turbulent
Atmosphere" examines the elements and models of the moving atmosphere; turbulent
heat exchange.
