Prerequisites and co-requisites
2.1. Know the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, general provisions of various branches of law and in general, the basics of jurisprudence. Know the provisions of the theoretical foundations of legal principles formation and implementation of environmental law within the limits specified in the course program. 2.2 Be able to apply the acquired knowledge of legal regulation of relations in the field of use of natural resources, environmental protection, and environmental safety; solve basic practical problems related to the application of environmental law etc. 2.3 Possess basic skills in analyzing and characterizing regulatory legal acts that regulate relations in the field of natural resources, environmental protection environmental protection and environmental safety.
Course content
The discipline "Environmental Law" is an elective discipline of the educational program for bachelors in the specialty 103-Earth Sciences. teaching of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis and study of environmental law. Within the framework of the discipline, the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of of Ukraine "On Environmental Protection", resource codes and laws of Ukraine, environmental legislation of Ukraine, including bylaws and regulations legal acts - decrees of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of of central executive authorities that regulate environmental and legal relations, aimed at realization of environmental rights of citizens, environmental protection, ensuring environmental safety and the use of natural resources. These include provisions of the land, water, forestry, faunal, mining, atmospheric protection, nature reserve, and resort, recreational legislation, legislation on the ecological network of Ukraine, legislation in the field of environmental safety of Ukraine, etc., as well as the provisions of of the theory of environmental law within the scope of the course program. The course of the discipline involves students studying the current environmental legislation of Ukraine, legal literature literature, basic concepts and special terminology of environmental law.
