Course content
The academic discipline "Climatology" is one of the components of the comprehensive training
of the specialty "Earth Sciences" under the program "Meteorology". In the process of studying
discipline, the main climate-forming factors and processes are considered; climate
system and interrelations between its individual components; the main features of the thermal regime,
moisture circulation and general atmospheric circulation; global fields of meteorological variables;
basics of climate classification and regionalization; geographical types of climates; main types of
of microclimates.
