1. successful mastering of the discipline "Meteorology";
2. knowledge of theoretical foundations of atmospheric processes and phenomena.
Course content
The discipline "Climatology" is one of the components of the comprehensive training
specialty "Earth Sciences" under the program "Meteorology". In the process of studying
discipline the main climate-forming factors and processes are considered; climate
system and relationships between its individual components; the main features of the thermal regime,
moisture circulation and general circulation of the atmosphere; global fields of meteorological quantities;
basics of climate classification and zoning; geographical types of climates; main types of
microclimates.
