Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of the disciplines of the educational and professional program "Meteorology" of the bachelor's degree, in particular, such as: "Geology General and Historical Geology, General Hydrology, Meteorology, "Soil Science with the basics of soil geography, Topography with the basics of geodesy". 2. Possess basic skills in the use of cartographic works in solving scientific and practical problems.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of general information about theoretical, historical and applied aspects of cartography, the formation of students' ability to correctly and creatively apply the knowledge and skills acquired after knowledge and skills to achieve scientific goals, preservation, protection and improvement of the environment. environment. The discipline is aimed at developing students' special professional, social and personal competencies, accumulation of knowledge on the possibilities of critical thinking, analysis and synthesis, the ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources, ability to to identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of natural geography by means of cartography.
