When studying the discipline, special attention is paid to the formation of important specialists competences in the organization of extracurricular work, comprehensive tourist training, organization of household, food, basing and medical support during the organization tourist activities with schoolchildren. Educational practice consists of three stages: The first stage (Kyiv) involves studying the peculiarities of the practice area (field stage - Rakhiv district of Zakarpattia region), namely study cartographic and touristic and local history material, drawing up the project of the field stage research, development of a diet and selection of appropriate equipment. plan search. The third stage (Kyiv) involves the processing of materials obtained during the fieldwork stage, writing and defending a practice report.
