Learning outcomes
PR9. Collect, evaluate, interpret and use geospatial data, metadata about objects of natural and man-made origin, apply statistical methods of their analysis to solve specialized problems in the field of geodesy and land management.
PR12. Develop land management documentation, cadastral documentation and land valuation documentation using computer technologies, geo-information systems and digital photogrammetry, fill with data state land, urban planning and other cadastres.
PR13. Plan and perform geodetic, topographic and cadastral surveys, process the obtained results in geoinformation systems.

Prerequisites for mastering or choosing an academic discipline: successful study of the disciplines of the previous academic semesters of the specified educational and professional program.
Course content
The purpose of the educational discipline is to provide students with basic knowledge of the theory and practice of developing infrastructures of (geo-)spatial data (GIS, IPD) as a new class of modern geo-informational resources that function in a computer environment for practical application in various spheres and industries, in particular in geodesy, cartography and land management.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms and organization of assessment:
- current (semester) evaluation (grade for practical works (minimum grade 24,
maximum 40; control papers (6-10); independent work (5-10));
– final (final) assessment in the form of credit (assessment for theory knowledge (minimum
12, maximum 20 points); assessment for the practical part (13 – 20)).
For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 35 points, for admission to the final control form, it is necessary to pass an additionally completed individual complex task.
