Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline "Photogrammetry" is based on the cycle of educational disciplines of theoretical and professional training, in particular, students must possess: basic knowledge of mathematics (analytical and projective geometry); physics (optics); professional training in topography, geodesy, topographic mapping; engineering and computer graphics.
Course content
The educational discipline "Photogrammetrics" is the theoretical and practical basis for the training of photo processing specialists to create topographic, cadastral plans and maps and to solve the problems of remote determination of the dimensions, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of objects in many spheres of activity. The discipline is basic for obtaining the "Bachelor" educational level. The purpose of teaching the educational discipline "Photogrammetry" is to study the physical (optics) and mathematical (projection geometry) foundations of the formation of photographic images (photographs), their properties, measurement methods, the mathematical apparatus for the creation and consideration of distortions of an individual photograph, methods of observing and measuring a stereo pair of photographs (photogrammetric stereo model ) to obtain spatial information about the research object.

Assessment methods and criteria
The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for the learning outcomes provided for in points 1 and 2 cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 28 and 12 points respectively). The final evaluation is conducted in the form of credit: the maximum number of points for the credit is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the credit).
