1. Fundamental physical laws, their origin and limits of application. Understand the mechanisms of development of physics as a science.
2. To use fundamental physical theories together with the possibilities of mathematical analysis as a real basis for further professional specialization.
Course content
The special educational discipline "Physics" is a component of the cycle of professionally oriented disciplines of professional training of specialists at the educational qualification level "bachelor". It is the basis for a number of specializations of the Faculty of Geography.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final grade from the educational component as a whole, the final form of control for which credit is established, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes during the semester (grades below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final grade) and the grade received during offset The form of assessment is written work followed by an oral interview. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the exam is 60 points on a 100-point scale. It is not allowed to retake the semester control in order to improve a positive grade.
