Learning outcomes
To know the specifics of creative industries, products and media production, production professions, and the basics of a media producer work, to know the relevant concepts. To be able to design a marketing complex, strategies, and budget of media projects, prepare project applications, draw up reports on projects, and measure their effectiveness.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To master the course, the student must:
• know the specifics and organisational structure of the media sphere, the goals, and tasks of different types of media, and the characteristics of their target audiences;
• understand the essence of media management;
• have primary skills in creative work, use of communication technologies;
• be able to master modern knowledge and advance in the chosen profession, develop technological literacy and business culture, create original products.
Course content
The course launches the specialised training of future specialists motivated for self-development, professional and personal growth in the chosen field, capable of rational perception of intellectual, creative, organisational, and ethical challenges, applying the acquired knowledge and skills to solve tasks and problems. The work of a media producer combines creative and organisational functions: generating ideas, ensuring their transformation into concepts and plans, building a team and organising their work, attracting investments, and ensuring legal support of the project in order to achieve its goals, the issues that underline various forms of student work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge monitoring is carried out according to the ECTS system. During the two semesters, practical classes account for 43% and independent work for 57% of the course hours. Each semester ends with an exam. The student may earn a maximum total score of 100 points, with a recommended minimum of 48 points and a threshold of 40 points.
