Learning outcomes
PR6. Analyze biological phenomena and processes at the molecular, cellular, organismal, population-species and biosphere levels in terms of fundamental general scientific knowledge, as well as using special modern research methods. PR 19. To solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR 39. To be able to use existing and develop new algorithms for studying various physiological states of the human body and animals that arise under certain conditions of existence on the basis of modern data on the physiological mechanisms underlying life.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses "Molecular Biology", "Cytology", "Biochemistry", "Anatomy and physiology of man and animals". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, biochemistry, physiology and anatomy, etc. disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature.
Course content
The course covers the study of basic principles of organization of living cell molecules into protein systems that support the normal function of organs and the body as a whole and introduces modern scientific theories of molecular structure and function of cells. Studies the basic methodological approaches used to study the functioning of molecular structures of living cells on the example of cells of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Methods and techniques of research in this field can be used in research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary sciences.
