Learning outcomes
PR4. Evaluate the economic efficiency of the proposed processes. PR12. Create landscaping objects of various purposes and select a set of works for the care of plants in plantations. PR13. Organize educational and cognitive activities of students. PR17. Collect, process, analyze and systematize scientific and technical information on the subject of research, put forward and verify scientific hypotheses, choose optimal methods, techniques and means of research, make and argue conclusions according to research results. PR18. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, form an idea about the phytooptimization of anthropogenically altered landscapes, the peculiarities of plant interaction and the specificity of root nutrition in the conditions of urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the academic disciplines "Biology of plants", "Vegetation of the globe", "Biochemistry of plants", "Dendrology", "Physiology of plants", "Decorative dendrology", "Phytoecology of landscapes", "Greening of populated areas". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of biology, biochemistry and physiology of plants, phytoecology and dendrology, as well as other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possess elementary skills of working with materials and equipment used in biological and chemical laboratories, as well as skills of system analysis.
Course content
The educational discipline "Poisonous and medicinal plants in an urbanized environment" is a selective educational discipline that forms a comprehensive understanding of: ecology, chemical composition, features of the use of poisonous and medicinal plants in the conditions of an urbanized environment; accumulation and release of biologically active, dangerous, valuable substances; effect on the body human, warning.
