5. To offer and organize ecological-biological and technological measures of creation and maintenance of objects of garden and park economy, natural and cultural landscapes. 7. Carry out effective management of horticultural facilities, natural and cultural landscapes, taking into account technological, legal, economic, environmental and other aspects. 12. Create landscaping facilities for various purposes and select a set of works for the care of plants in plantations. 18. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of ​​phyto-optimization of anthropogenically altered landscapes, features of plant interaction and the specifics of root nutrition in urban landscapes, as well as their climate-forming ability.

Course content
The discipline "Specifics of root nutrition of plants in urban landscapes" is a selective discipline, which forms a comprehensive view of: the structure and function of the root system of plants as an organ of absorption and metabolism; mechanisms of absorption and transportation of mineral elements, metabolism and physiological and biochemical significance of the most important macro- and microelements; ecological significance of root secretions, diagnosis plant nutrition, physiological bases of fertilizer use, features of root nutrition in urban landscapes.
