Learning outcomes
PRN 01. Have thorough knowledge of the structure of professional activity. To be able to carry out professional activities that require updating and integration of knowledge. To be responsible for professional development, the ability for further professional training with a high level of autonomy. PRN 02. Understanding and knowledge of fundamental and clinical biomedical sciences, at a level sufficient for solving professional tasks in the field of health care. PRN 18. Analyze and evaluate government, social and medical information using standard approaches and computer information technologies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Operate with the knowledge, skills and abilities previously formed during the study of the course "Foreign language (for professional direction)" at a sufficient level of B1; the ability to participate in debates and competently justify one's views; the ability to independently work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature; possession of elementary skills of system analysis, synthesis and generalization of information.
Course content
The educational discipline "Foreign language (by professional direction)" is a component of the professional training program for specialists of the educational level "Master" in the field of knowledge 22 "Health care" specialty 222 "Medicine". The educational discipline "Foreign language (for professional direction)" is a mandatory discipline that lays the foundations of the professional language of the future specialist with the further perspective of using the acquired knowledge in professional activities; continues to form communicative, sociocultural, pragmatic and professionally oriented communicative competence. The discipline is designed to lay the foundations of modern professional speech, to familiarize with professional terminology and rules for compiling documentation, to form the skills and abilities of current types of professional speech activity of future specialists in the specialty 222 "Medicine".
