Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of the discipline "Emergency Medicine" is based on the study of biology, human anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, hygiene, pathological anatomy, pathological physiology, emergency medicine, therapy, surgery, and other clinical disciplines. with these disciplines.
When studying the discipline, students should prepare for practical classes and perform the full range of practical tasks and tasks for independent work, provided by the thematic plan and set by the teacher. The study of the discipline ends with a test.
Course content
Discipline "Emergency Medicine" is based on the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Emergency Medical Care" of July 5, 2012 №5081 VI. The terms "emergency care" and "emergency medical care" are interpreted as similar in nature and are defined as the type of medical care provided at the pre-hospital stage at the scene or in the department of emergency (emergency) medical care to a patient in an emergency by ambulance staff. ) medical care on the basis of clinical protocols and standards for emergency medical care, including during emergencies and the elimination of its consequences.
