PR01. Know and understand the fundamental and applied aspects of environmental sciences.
PR12. Be able to assess landscape and biological diversity and analyze the effects of anthropogenic impacts on the environment.
PR17. Critically comprehend knowledge from various subject areas to solve theoretical and / or practical problems and problems.
PR20. Have the basics of environmental research and environmental expert assessment of environmental impact.
PR21. Assess the level of biological diversity of biocenoses of natural, anthropogenically modified and artificial ecosystems

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - the basic principles of organization and functioning of populations, groups and ecosystems.
2. Be able to - analyze and interpret the results of environmental research.
3. Have basic skills - work with reference books, work with PC.
Course content
The teaching of this discipline is aimed at theoretical and practical mastering by students of modern concepts of biodiversity, methods of its measurement. Separate sections are devoted to identifying the causes of biodiversity loss and ways to preserve it.

3. Design and presentation of practical work - RN 1.1-4. 1. - 30 points / 15 points
4. Registration of results of independent work - RN 1.1-4.1 - 10/5 points.
