PR03. Understand the basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences, necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature. PR08. Be able to search for information using appropriate sources to make informed decisions. PR15. Be able to explain the social, economic and political consequences of implementing environmental projects. PR25. Preserve and increase the achievements and values ​​of society based on understanding the place of the subject area in the general system of knowledge, use different types and forms of physical activity to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the main trends in civilization as the highest stage of evolution of the social form of motion of matter; main periods of the history of world civilizations, their differences, defining events and phenomena; main directions of transformations of socio-economic and socio-political relations in the leading cultural and historical communities; Be able to: determine the importance of natural conditions and religious factors to determine the specifics of individual civilizations; to analyze the processes of formation and development of individual civilizations from antiquity to the present; to form adequate ideas about modern realities in which historical factors are reflected and continue to be reflected; identify the factors of globalization and localization in the modern life of world civilizations. 3. Have basic skills in forming independent conclusions about civilization processes at the level of the planet, region, country and individual.
Course content
The course highlights the development of world history from antiquity to the present day; investigates identification of general trends in human development, the disclosure of the specifics of their impact on human existence in local civilizations that have existed and exist on Earth; contributes to the identification of leading factors that determine the processes of civilization at the present stage, as well as their impact on the progress of the world community, Europe and Ukraine.
