Prerequisites and co-requisites
The program is based on the fact that English language training in the Free Economic Zone begins with a minimum sufficient level B1 according to CEFR and ends with a final oral-written exam focused on its requirements for the level of independent user (B1 + / Strong Threshold) at the end of the 2nd semester. -written examination, focused in its requirements on the advanced level of B2 / Vantage according to CEFR at the end of the 7th semester.
Course content
The discipline is designed to develop the ability to communicate in a foreign language and apply knowledge in practical situations. Realization of the purpose of discipline "Foreign language (English)" is result of complex interaction of four components: 1) English-language communicative competence involves the development of skills and abilities in the main types of speech activities, including reception, production, interaction and mediation in both written and oral forms; 2) socio-cultural competence refers to the ability to apply a set of sociolinguistic, regional and intercultural knowledge to achieve understanding between representatives of different societies; 3) pragmatic competence is related to the functional use of linguistic means; 4) professionally oriented communicative competence is the ability to use students' professional skills and knowledge to solve general problems. professional tasks in English.

Exercises for teaching reception, products, interaction and mediation in oral and written forms: PH 3.1 - 68/34 points. 2nd semester 1. Modular tests: RN 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.2 - 20/10 points. 2. Tests of current control: РН 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2– 6/3 points. 3. Exercises for teaching reception, products, interaction and mediation in oral and written forms: PH 3.1 - 34/17 points. 7th semester Qualifying exam in a foreign language, focused in its requirements on advanced level of proficiency in B2 according to CEFR: PH 3.1 - 100/60 points.
