PR02. Understand the basic environmental laws, rules and principles of environmental protection and nature management. PR03. Understand basic concepts, theoretical and practical
problems in the field of natural sciences, which is necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature.
PR26. Carry out ecological description of paleocenoses using methods of geochronology, stratigraphy, taxonomic analysis. PR30. Identify the principles and types of interaction of living organisms with the environment
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the features of the organization and taxonomic diversity of different groups of animals and
plants, as well as the main modern provisions of evolutionary theories.
2. Be able to analyze professional literature and use the Internet and computers
programs to search for the latest scientific data and their analysis.
3. Have basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The discipline gives students the opportunity to analyze issues
the emergence of life on the planet, the emergence of various taxonomic groups of living organisms, the evolution and formation of their modern diversity under the influence of environmental laws. Particular attention is paid to the main aromamorphoses that have occurred at different levels of organization of living organisms over billions of years. This course acquaints students with research methods and techniques that can be used in setting up experiments in related sciences. The discipline allows to generalize the idea of the direction and ecological patterns of reconstruction of paleoecosystems during different stages of historical development of different ecosystems of the planet and the biosphere as a whole.
