Learning outcomes
The student must know the basic concepts of the subject "Pathomorphology and Pathophysiology" - the basics of students' understanding of the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of the disease through mastery of nosology, typical pathological processes and pathophysiology of organs and systems. Students must find out the essence of the main pathomorphological processes in the organs. The practical activity of a health worker is based on a thorough knowledge of various functional and morphological changes that occur in the body during illness.Without knowledge of pathology it is impossible to study clinical disciplines .
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Successful mastering of suchdisciplines as “Human anatomy”, «Physiology», «Histology, cytology and embryology», «microbiology, virology and immunology», «biological and bioorganic chemistry», «medical biology», «medical and biological physics”. 2. Ability to put knowledge of the above-mentioned disciplines (human anatomy, histology, biochemistry etc.) into practice independently to resolve particular scientific and practical tasks. Skills in working with scientific and methodical literature. 3. Basic systematic analytical skills
Course content
The practical activity of a medical worker is based on a thorough knowledge of various functional and morphological changes that occur in the body during illness. Pathological anatomy and pathological physiology, which together constitute a three-dimensional field of knowledge called pathology, can give a holistic view of these changes. Without knowledge of pathology, it is impossible to study clinical disciplines by future medical professionals. "Pathomorphology and pathophysiology" is related to such disciplines as "Human and animal physiology", "Cytology, histology", "Immunology", "Biochemistry". Methods and techniques of this discipline can be used in research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary .
