            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            1. To know the basics of biology, physiology, genetics and breeding of ornamental plants, dendrology, soil science, agrotechnics of growing ornamental plants, designing, forming and operating components of horticulture.
2. To be able to apply previously acquired knowledge, work independently, creatively approach the performance of individual and group tasks, participate in discussion of issues, discussions, debates, make independent decisions.
3. To have the basics of legal and normative regulation of labor protection and life safety when carrying out garden and park works.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The educational discipline "Mechanization of works in horticulture" is a mandatory educational discipline aimed at providing and explaining to students the theoretical and practical principles of mechanization of horticulture, methods of solving specific engineering problems, studying the technological process of the operation of machines and mechanisms in horticulture,
structure and technical characteristics of machines and tools, familiarization with the organizational forms of using machinery and its technical operation.
