Learning outcomes
PR3. Conduct a literature search in Ukrainian and foreign languages ​​and analyze the information received. PR5. To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city. PR6. Understand and apply legislative acts, regulatory and reference materials, organizational management documentation on the organization and management of horticulture, knowledge of economics and law to ensure effective production activities. PR9. To design and organize events for the cultivation of planting material of ornamental woody plants in open and closed soil and to form objects of horticulture in accordance with modern scientific methods and customer requirements.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of academic disciplines of previous courses. 2. Be able to - at a professional level, use literary sources related to the design and creation of landscape crops, apply the acquired knowledge to improve the species composition, decorativeness and biological stability of landscape crops; draw up projects for their creation with the involvement of highly decorative woody and herbaceous plants; to monitor compliance with the requirements related to the completed works, as well as inventory and evaluation of quality indicators of urbocultural phytocenoses. 3. Володіти-основними принципами поєднання та добору деревних рослин для культурфітоценозів, що створюються в урбанізованих ландшафтах; технологічними заходами, які забезпечували б вирощування біологічно-стійких ландшафтних культур з урахуванням кліматичних та лісорослинних умов; правилами та критеріями оцінювання екологічного стану та якісних показників ландшафтних культур.
Course content
The educational discipline "Landscape cultures" belongs to selective educational disciplines. It is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the methods of creating and growing landscape crops with the involvement of regional technologies. It outlines issues related to the basic principles of creating and growing landscape crops in within the territories that are subject to excessive anthropogenic and technogenic influence, as well as theoretical developments regarding the creation and cultivation of landscape crops from woody and herbaceous plants in urbanized territories, which are characterized by different degrees of recreational loads, are considered.
