Course content
The course is devoted to the theory and practice of design, creation and operation of hydraulic structures, the typology of such structures, the role and objectives of each type. The issues of organization of construction of hydraulic structures, specifics of construction technologies used in the creation of such facilities are covered. Attention is paid to the problems of water regime regulation and the role of engineering equipment in optimizing the use of atmospheric and groundwater. Architectural planning features of water bodies design are considered, aspects of creation and operation of dam water bodies, fountains, waterfalls are covered in detail. Modern perspective approaches to the creation of water structures on the objects of landscape architecture are highlighted.
