Learning outcomes
PR4. Possess professional knowledge to solve tasks related to the organization and management of horticulture. PR5. To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city. PR 17. Present, model and develop projects of greening, horticulture, landscape architecture and environment design using the latest technologies and graphic presentation techniques.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical foundations of modern landscaping of populated areas, the main design methods and techniques, the range of typical wooden ornamental plants, their biological characteristics, the features of growing, propagating and caring for them in open areas. 2. Be able to use compositional techniques to develop project proposals for landscaping different types of territories. 3. Possess elementary skills in growing and propagating ornamental plants, as well as creating and caring for phytocompositions.
Course content
In the process of studying the discipline "Landscaping of populated areas", students will consider the scientific foundations of landscaping of populated areas, get acquainted with modern methods and directions of landscaping, acquire theoretical knowledge and gain practical skills in creating garden and park facilities for various functional purposes. In laboratory classes, students will gain knowledge and skills in composite design, understanding their place and role in the landscaping system of settlements, get acquainted with the modern range of wooden and shrubby plants for ornamental plantings, with regulatory documents for the creation and operation of green spaces.

Test work on topic 1: RH 1.1, RH 1.3 - 10 points / 5 points 4. Presentation of an individual task on topic 2: RH 3.1 - 14 points / 7 points 5. Protection of laboratory work on topic 2: RH 1.2, RH 1.3, RH 2.2, RH 2.3, RH 3.1 - 6 points / 3 points 6. Examination on topic 2: RH 1.2, RH 1.3 - 10 points / 5 points Final grade: in the form of an exam
