Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the school course in physics and physical geography. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of physics, physical geography, the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes occurring in the natural environment. 3. Possession of methods of synthesis and analysis of information.
Course content
The course is devoted to the study of the Earth's atmosphere. The course consists of two content modules. The first is devoted to the study of the composition and structure of the atmosphere, solar, terrestrial and atmospheric radiation, the thermal regime of the atmosphere, the surface of soil and water bodies, as well as the water regime of the atmosphere. The second module deals with the formation and distribution of precipitation, baric field atmosphere, wind regime, air masses and atmospheric fronts, atmospheric circulation over different latitudes, climatic factors.
