PR4. Have professional knowledge to solve problems of organization and management of horticulture. PR16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of biodiversity conservation to increase productivity, increase sustainability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change.

Course content
Modern ideas about natural and anthropogenic (cultural) landscapes, classifications of landscape types, peculiarities of the functioning of phytocenoses under various environmental factors in natural and anthropogenic landscapes are considered. Modern methods of description and mapping of territories, assessment of the state of vegetation, the latest concepts of creating garden and park landscapes are highlighted. Issues of environmental protection measures aimed at preserving natural landscapes are highlighted, and the possibilities of restoration of degraded natural and anthropogenically altered landscapes are shown.
