Course content
In the process of studying the discipline, an analysis of the wide variety of possibilities for recording genetic information in viruses and the diversity of their physical. The close relationship between genome organization and virus life cycles is highlighted, genetic maps and phylogenetic analysis of viral genes and genomes are introduced. The integrative role of viral genetics is that it investigates universal properties in viral models that can be further considered in more complex biological systems. Particular attention is paid to highlighting the practical importance of virus genetics for agriculture, biotechnology, medicine and other fields.
