PR05. Use knowledge and demonstrate compliance with the provisions of biological ethics, biological safety and biological protection. PR06. Apply the principles of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular life forms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. PR16. Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting field, laboratory, clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results. PR17. Through self-study to master new knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. PR19. Solve applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR23.5. Apply preparative and analytical physicochemical methods in complex microbiological research.

External form

1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of ecology, microbiology, virology, general immunology, physiology and biochemistry. 3. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of laboratory research of environmental indicators. 4. Possession of basic skills in the use of microbiological methods for the identification of microorganisms. 5. The use of special literature to interpret the results obtained during the study of microbiological indicators in the study of various objects.

The discipline is a basic discipline and is devoted to the study of sanitary demonstration microorganisms, methods of detection of pathogenic microorganisms, sanitary-microbiological indicators of soil, water, air, food, medicines. Modern tendencies and directions of development of normative documents, methodical instructions which define conformity of microflora of objects of environment to hygienic requirements are considered.
