Course content
"Nucleic acid biochemistry" is a discipline that examines the structural features of different types of DNA and RNA, the participation of these molecules in cell function at the molecular level, the organization and regulation of chromatin as a hereditary material, and the mechanisms and regulation of nucleic metabolism acids. Particular attention is paid to modern methods of studying the biochemistry and molecular biology of DNA and RNA, namely - methods of isolation, purification, identification of nucleic acids, qualitative and quantitative reactions to DNA and RNA and their components, methods of studying the structure and function of nucleic acids polymerase chain reaction, blotting, electrophoresis in agarose and other gels, determination of the expression of certain genes, etc.
