Understand the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level. PR12. 1. Successful mastering of the discipline "Chemistry". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills in the chemical laboratory.
Course content
The discipline "Bioorganic Chemistry" is part of the program of training specialists at the educational level "Bachelor" in the educational program "Biology" and is a mandatory discipline that covers the chemical structure and properties of biomolecules in living organisms: the structure and properties of amino acids as components of proteins; structure, properties and functions of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, vitamins; and outlines the range of methods of chemical and biochemical studies of biomolecules.
