Course content
The discipline "Methodology of Biotechnological Research" covers the theoretical and practical aspects of methods and technological procedures used in the modern biotechnological segment of human life and allowing the development of biotechnological process technologies at the world level. The methodology of an integrated approach to the use of methods and techniques in the development of a biotechnological product with specified properties is considered in detail. The discipline helps to form in future biotechnology specialists a modern outlook on the scientific foundations of the latest biotechnologies based on the use of the latest advances in biology, chemistry and technological disciplines.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, practical classes, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment: 1. Module control work 1 - PH 1.1; PH 1.2 - 20 points/10 points 2. Module control work 2 - PH 1.3; PH 1.4 - 20 points/10 points 3. Reports on practical work - PH 1.4-3.1 - 20 points/10 points If during the semester a student scores below the minimum threshold level (50% of the maximum possible number of points) for each planned learning outcome (for example, 9 points for Module Control Work 1), points are not added to the semester final grade. Retaking a semester test to improve a positive grade is not allowed.
