Course content
The course "Fundamentals of Cell Cultivation Biotechnology" covers the issues of obtaining, propagating and using plant and animal cell cultures and their products. This discipline examines the laws of regulation of reproduction, maturation, aging and elimination of the cell population; conditions for cultivating cells and tissues in vitro; ways to regulate the conditions of growing a culture in vitro in order to increase the efficiency of an existing culture or induce cell development in a new desired direction. The knowledge gained can be used in biotechnological, pharmacological, and medical research involving modern principles of cellular technology.
