Course content
The need for this discipline is determined by the need to understand the specifics of the structure and functioning of the body of birds, the principles of their relationship with the environment. The study of the discipline involves prior acquaintance with the normative course "Zoology" and complements the systematic sections of zoology (protozoology, carcinology, entomology, batrachoherpetology, theriology, etc.). However, it is closely related to disciplines such as biogeocenology, biodiversity. The aim of the discipline "Ornithology" is to gain knowledge about the structure of birds, their adaptation to flight and different environmental conditions, migration, diversity, economic and epidemiological role of birds, as well as students mastering methods of studying birds.
