Course content
The discipline "Special Histology" is part of the cycle of professional training of specialists at the educational level "Bachelor" in the educational program "Biology". The discipline is a basic histological discipline that covers issues of microscopic structure at the tissue, cellular and subcellular levels, development and functioning of individual organs and systems, patterns of morpho-functional changes of organs when changing their physiological status, which is the object of a wide range of histologists. as well as methods and techniques of histological research, which can be used in conducting research in related sciences and in interdisciplinary projects and which require in-depth knowledge of histology. The discipline is designed to create a basis of morphological knowledge necessary for the successful assimilation of other biomedical disciplines, as well as for the development of correct ideas about the pathogenesis and morphogenesis of diseases.
