PR01. Understand social and economic consequences of the introduction of the latest developments in field of biology in professional activity. PR05. Demonstrate assessment skills unpredictable biological problems and deliberate choice of ways to solve them PR09. Follow the provisions of the biological ethics, rules of biological safety and biological protection during training and professional activity. PR16. Know the structure and functions of the immune system, cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune reactions, their regulation, genetic control; types of immunity and methods of immune assessment body status.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of anatomy, microbiology, virology, general immunology, physiology and biochemistry. 3. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of laboratory research on the state of the immune system. 4. Possession of basic skills in the use of immunological methods to identify dysfunction of various parts of the immune system. 5. The use of special literature to interpret the results obtained during studies of immunological parameters in various diseases, the pathogenesis of which involves the immune component.

The discipline "Immunomodulators" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of the educational level "Bachelor". The discipline is selective and is devoted to the study of drugs with immunomodulatory effects and immunotropic substances used for immunocorrection in various pathological conditions. The main types of pathological conditions and underlying processes for which there is a need for immunomodulatory drugs are considered; modern classifications of immunomodulatory drugs, mechanisms of their immunomodulatory and pharmacological action and the principles of choosing a drug to correct the immune response.
