PR08. Know and understand basic terms, concepts,
theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the border
subject areas.
PR10. Know the basics of taxonomy, detection methods
and identification of non-cellular forms of life, prokaryotes
and eukaryotes and use them to solve problems
specific biological tasks.
PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of structure and processes
vital activities and functions of living organisms,
to understand the mechanisms of regulation of physiological functions
to maintain the homeostasis of biological systems.
PR15. Analyze forms of relationships between
micro- and macro-organisms with definition
the main directions of these processes.
PR16. Know the structure and functions of the immune system,
cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune reactions,
their regulation, genetic control; types of immunity
and methods of assessing the body's immune status.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering by the program of a theoretical course of a subject and a practical material of educational disciplines which are taught to students of educational level "Bachelor".
2. Know the basics of biology, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, cellular and humoral immunity.
3. Understand the terminology of the course.
4. Know the basic principles of basic biological methods.
5. Have basic skills in the use of laboratory equipment.
6. Have the skills of analytical evaluation of research results conducted in various fields of biology and or in a particular biological field to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
7. Be able to work with information databases, scientific and methodological literature and analyze the results.
Course content
This discipline forms an idea of the components of the system of anti-infective immunity, the peculiarities of the functioning of the cellular and humoral links, the mechanisms of control of the immune response.
