Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "bachelor". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc. disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in the biophysical laboratory.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the study of the basics of biophysics. Issues such as thermodynamics of biological processes, molecular, cellular biophysics, mechanisms of electrogenesis are considered. Knowledge of biophysical mechanisms of muscular and non-muscular forms of mobility, energy transformation in mitochondrial and plastid membranes, basics of photobiology, biophysics of sensory and complex systems, radiation biophysics is provided. The objectives of the course are to master the basic principles of theoretical principles of modern biophysics; explanation of the relationship between physical and biological aspects of the functioning of living systems, mastering biophysical research methods. Particular attention is paid to the regulation of cellular processes.
