Learning outcomes
Student should know essentials of network technologgies, basic approaches for development of complicated software including distributed applications. Student should be able to develop distributed programs for instrumental data processing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Student should know: essential of C/C++, computer systems design, parallel computing , mathematical and physical disciplines at the level of first master program year. Student should be able to develop programs in C/C++, works with high performance computer systems at the level of first master program year .
Course content
Essentials of software development for instrumental data processing in medicine using standard algorithms and data structures, distributed programming, network technologies are given

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester score is formed within a single module with individual tasks (up to 5 tasks). The first module test - tasks 1-3, the second module test - tasks 4-5. Maximum semester score is 60 points Final score is in the form of written exam with practical tasks. Exam contains 2 tasks, up to 20 points each tasks. Maximum exam score is 40 points. Minimum positive grade mark condition is 60 points. If all individual tasks are fulfilled with not less than 10 points additional 40 point are given without passing a written test
