Redox processes in the human body, electroanalysis of proteins for early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, development of a screening system for potential substrates and/or inhibitors of this class of substances, as well as biologically active compounds, highly sensitive immunosensors, methods of direct recording of the electrochemical activity of bacterial cells, polymers with molecular fingerprints; electrokinetic phenomena and their application for diagnosis and control of the course of diseases, for the transport of drugs through the skin and purification of drugs.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basic knowledge of molecular physics, medical physics, biological physics, biological chemistry and physiology at the level of a bachelor's degree graduate of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
Course content
The discipline of Technologies of medical and diagnostic systems consists of two meaningful modules No. 1 "Electrode processes and their application in medicine" and No. 2 "Electrokinetic phenomena and their application for diagnosis and control of the course of diseases." In the first of them, the main oxidation-reduction processes in the human body, which are the basis of the vital activity of living organisms, are studied, in the second - the application of electrokinetic phenomena in medicine.
