Learning outcomes
The student must know the main components of the system of intellectual property law in Ukraine, objects of intellectual property law, the algorithm for acquiring (emergence) legal protection of various objects of intellectual property, the rights and obligations of owners of protective documents for objects of intellectual property law , ways of disposing of the right to objects of intellectual property rights, cases of violation of the rights of owners of valid security documents. The student must be able to define the main concepts of the course, define intellectual property issues in the legislation of Ukraine, define the main components of the international system of protection and protection of intellectual property rights.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must know the basic concepts of the system of legal protection of intellectual property; components of the international system of intellectual property protection; components of the intellectual property system in Ukraine; to define intellectual property in the norms of the general legislation of Ukraine; to determine objects of intellectual property rights; to determine subjects of intellectual property rights; algorithm of legal protection of objects of patent law; the algorithm of legal protection of the means of individualization of the participants of the civil turnover; algorithm of legal protection of non-traditional objects of intellectual property; algorithm of legal protection of industrial property objects in foreign countries; algorithm of "legal protection" of copyright objects; determine the rights and obligations of the owners of protective documents for objects of intellectual property rights.
Course content
Studying the discipline "Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property" allows you to understand the methods and techniques of scientific and pedagogical activity. A significant part of the program consists of practical tasks, in particular work planning, writing lesson notes, essays and other forms of work. To learn theoretical material and perform practical tasks, students are recommended to familiarize themselves with the lists of scientific literature for each topic, study textbooks and manuals, as well as use other sources: laws of Ukraine and international norms on intellectual property, periodicals, popular scientific magazines, Internet sites, etc

Assessment methods and criteria
The overall assessment during the semester is based on the sum of the results of independent work and independent tasks (evaluated in total from 0 to 60 points). Final evaluation (in the form of credit): the form of credit is a computer test. (rated from 0 to 40 points). The condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is to obtain a total of points (for the semester assessment and crediting together) of at least 60 points, while the grade for the final assessment cannot be less than 24 points.
