Students acquire knowledge and practical skills on the basics of information technology security in information and communication systems.

Full-time form

To know the basics of building radio-electronic means and information and telecommunication systems. Be able to run and manage application software based on a graphical user interface.

Organization and procedure for creating security systems in information and telecommunication systems. Analysis of security features of TCP/IP protocols. Ensuring information security in telecommunication networks. Basics of managing information networks. Methods of implementing information security management systems.

Lectures - 30 hrs, laboratory work - 10 hrs, consultations - 1 hr, independent work - 49 hrs, total - 90 hrs.

Semester assessment: modular control work (up to 10 points), defense of laboratory works (up to 50 points), in total - up to 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of credit - up to 40 points.
