Learning outcomes
Studying the main methods of researching the reliability of complex radio engineering systems. Mastering the algorithms for conducting technical diagnostics of analog and digital devices and the methods of constructing diagnostic tests.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: basics of probability theories and mathematical statistics; basic laws of random variable distribution; fundamentals of integral calculus; logic of operation of logical elements. Be able to: solve definite and indefinite integrals; investigate the passage of signals in simple combinational circuits.
Course content
Quantitative indicators of object failure. Complex indicators of reliability. Engineering methods of ensuring reliability. Methods of statistical evaluation of indicators of operational reliability. Ways and methods of increasing reliability. Basic concepts of technical diagnostics. Conditional algorithms for diagnosing analog and digital objects. Electrophysical methods of diagnosing digital devices. Technical means of diagnosis.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures - 60 hrs, practical lessons - 14 hrs, consultations - 1 hr, independent work - 75 hrs, total - 150 hrs.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: the first modular test (up to 24 points), the second modular test (up to 16 points), an individual independent task (up to 20 points), in total - up to 60 points. Final evaluation in the form of an exam - up to 40 points.
