Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should know 1. Historical stages of the development of philosophy, its main problems, branches and schools 2. The main ways (methods) of philosophizing, functions and methods of philosophy as a science 3. Basic philosophical problems (being, matter, consciousness, man, society, nature, practice, cognition, values, etc.) and the specificity of their interpretation in different philosophical schools 4. Understandably -categorical apparatus of philosophical knowledge 5. Peculiarities of interpretation of ontological and epistemological problems at different stages of the evolution of philosophical knowledge 6. The place and role of philosophy in society, its main tasks

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the main aspects of the following school subjects: "Man and the World", "Ethics", "History", "Social Studies".
Course content
Educational discipline "Philosophy" makes it possible to involve students in worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout history of its existence, to show the integral, integrative nature of knowledge about the surrounding world, to emphasize the fundamental importance of it for every person free worldview self-determination, choice of an active life position, creation of good by strengthening the state and society through one's own activities. Philosophy here acts as a worldview and at the same time a methodological basis , on the basis of which the assimilation of humanitarian, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines. To a large extent, it is thanks to her that the way out becomes possible consciousness of students beyond narrow professional training, orientation on universal values. The course includes 2 content parts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which involves two levels assessment of learned material, in particular assessment of theoretical training, which is 40% from general assessment and assessment of practical training communication, autonomy and responsibility, which is 60% of the total score.
