Learning outcomes
The student must know the origins and main stages of the historical evolution of university education in the world and in Ukraine, the history of the development of education at Kyiv University, at the Faculty of Radiophysics, Electronics and Computer Systems, the content of the Bologna process, directions of integration of Ukrainian university education into it. The student must be able to creatively and critically assimilate the defining milestones of the historical development of university education in the world and in Ukraine, apply theoretical, analytical, methodical tools for adaptation in the educational process, organization of independent and scientific work, participation in public life at the university, independently choose methods and techniques analysis of the researched topic,

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the content of the main stages of world history and the history of Ukraine, the basic principles of the functioning of the education system in Ukraine. 2. Possess the skills of analytical thinking, ability to generalize, comparative analysis, public speaking, in English. 3. Be able to analyze phenomena and processes, prepare presentations.
Course content
Disclosure of the history of the formation and development of university education and traditions in the world and in Ukraine in the context of the development of a civilizational educational space; the main stages of the development of economic education and science at Taras Shevchenko KNU in the context of its history and present, the history of the Faculty of Radiophysics, Electronics and Computer Systems; modern trends in the development of university education in Ukraine and the world, the content of the Bologna process; institutional and organizational principles of education in higher education, acquainting students with ethical principles and norms of the university community, moral standards, the code of ethics of the university community at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, rules for observing academic integrity in higher education; organization of the educational process, independent and scientific work of students at the university.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, independent work, testing, tests, preparation of essays, presentations, essay writing, modular tests.
Assessment methods and criteria
Student evaluation forms: - semester assessment 80 points maximum / 48 points minimum. - final assessment in the form of a final test: maximum score is 20 points, minimum score is 12 points (60% of 20 points). In the academic discipline, it is envisaged to conduct a written final comprehensive control paper (PCKR), which is performed in one of the last classes devoted to the study of the discipline. The grade for the comprehensive test (no more than 20 points) is added to the grades for the content modules and entered in the credit report.
