Course content
The main tasks of the course "Technologies of Processing and Analysis of Diagnostic Data" are to master the concepts, methods and algorithms necessary for effective computational processing of digital images, to master practical skills of working with images both with the help of ready-made software products and programming of relevant algorithms. The subject of the course "Technologies of Processing and Analysis of Diagnostic Data" includes the basic concepts of images in digital form, the main methods of signal processing and their application to the case of images, namely point transformations of space, filtering methods based on the use of spatial harmonics, convolution, rank methods, segmentation, feature selection and processing, including texture and contour, basic principles of building files for saving images, including using compression algorithms, basic methods of synthesis of two-dimensional and three-dimensional images.
