Learning outcomes
To know and be able to use the basic laws, theories and methods of Mechanics;
to solve typical problems of mechanical phenomena in general physics, which require the use of standard mathematical methods;
correctly determine the techniques needed to solve problems, be able to find the best techniques needed to solve theoretical and experimental physical problems.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Study of the discipline " Mechanics "begins on the basis of secondary education (school) with an initial explanation of a number of issues of higher mathematics (differentiation, integration, operations with matrices, solution of simple linear differential equations, operations with vectors).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching theoretical material is a lecture with a parallel consideration of practical examples (tasks) in seminars and laboratory work on experimental equipment.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: The academic semester has three meaningful modules, which are assessed up to a maximum of 10 points.
Work in the classroom is part of the relevant module, the answer "about boards ", homework is an integral part of the relevant module.
Written tests are conducted after the completion of relevant topics. Instead of modular tests, individual tasks can be credited.
Final assessment (in the form of an exam): The exam ticket consists of 3 theoretical questions and 1 additional one. Each question is evaluated from 0 to 10 points.
