Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes include knowledge, skills and abilities: to know, analyze and critically comprehend: the main legal categories, theoretical and practical problems, the specifics of the legal mechanism for the implementation and protection of environmental rights of citizens, its impact on the development of the modern civil society; theoretical and applied research of environmental rights in the domestic and foreign scientific doctrine, understanding of modern European integration processes and the place of environmental rights in the system of constitutional and international human and civil rights; to be able to: solve problems and clearly substantiate conclusions and analyze problems in the field of implementation and protection of environmental rights of citizens and / or during the learning process to conduct research using information and communication technologies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline are: the knowledge of jurisprudence, successful mastering of such normative courses as "Environmental Law of Ukraine" and "Problems of environmental and land law"; the basic knowledge in certain branches of law: constitutional, administrative, land, economic, civil and others; skills of perception and analysis of the provisions of national and international sources of law and basic skills in preparing a draft of a statement of claim.
Course content
The discipline is aimed at studying: scientific and legal problems of the formation and development of citizens’ environmental rights and the legal mechanism of implementation and protection of citizens’ environmental rights, namely: features of legal relations in the field of implementation and protection of citizens’ environmental rights; problems of systematization of guarantees and legal mechanism of guarantees of realization and protection of citizens’ ecological rights; the legal basis of realization and protection of citizens’ environmental rights; ways and methods of protecting citizens’ environmental rights.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Considering the content of the educational material and learning objectives, the following traditional and innovative learning technologies are used in the process of teaching the discipline: - lectures on the study of scientific and legal issues of the formation and development of citizens’ environmental rights and the legal mechanism for the implementation and protection of citizens’ environmental rights, namely: features of legal relations in the field of implementation and protection of citizens’ environmental rights; legal principles of realization and protection of citizens’ environmental rights; ways and methods of protection of citizens’ environmental rights - seminars, which provide a detailed review of the theoretical provisions of the discipline (by preparing theoretical questions and discussions).
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods and criteria are chosen by the teacher who conducts seminars, within the number of points provided by the curriculum. The semester assessment is done within the following limits: a report – from 4 to 6 points; a supplement to the report – from 2 to 4 points; a scientific work (an essay, abstract, individual task) – from 4 to 6 points; checking of the written solution of problems – from 2 to 4 points; testing – from 4 to 6 points; the express questioning – from 3 to 4 points; a modal test – from 5 to 10 points. The minimum score that a student can get by the appropriate forms of assessment is 24 points per semester, and the maximum number of points – 40 points. The final evaluation is carried out in the form of a test. The maximum final score can be 100 points. Students who have missed classes for good reasons can work them off to get the admission points, but up to 24 points.
