Learning outcomes
Ability to think abstractly and creatively in resolving issues related to the organization of the labor process, judicial practice in the application of labor law.
Ability to analyze the acquired knowledge in the field of determining state guarantees of the right to work, legal issues of implementation and protection of labor and social rights of citizens, issues of social partnership, improving the system of representation of the workforce, ensuring compliance with modern working hours and leisure time, resolving labor disputes and liability for violations of labor rights.
Ability to systematize legal documentation; draw up documents in various areas of documentation of labor relations.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the current trends in labor law; modern state guarantees of the right to work, general theoretical aspects of the system of labor rights, theoretical and legal issues of development of labor law and labor legislation of Ukraine; concepts and features of legal regulation of social partnership and social dialogue in Ukraine, issues of labor safety, sanctions in labor law and issues of wages as a legal category of labor law.
Be able to independently study the scientific literature, apply the rules of labor law, analyze case law, draw reasonable conclusions; prepare expert opinions on controversial issues, substantiate one’s own position on resolving the practical situation in labor relations, protect the interests of the labor relations parties.
Course content
Formation and development of labor human rights. Concepts, features and classification of labor rights. The main trends in the development of labor rights at the current stage. Legal mechanism for ensuring labor rights of employees. Theoretical and legal issues of development of labor law of Ukraine. Theoretical and practical issues of the labor legislation validity in modern conditions. Concepts and features of legal regulation of social partnership in Ukraine. Social dialogue in the field of labor. Issues of labor safety as a legal category of labor law. Features of sanctions in labor law. Issues of legal regulation of wages. Legal status of the director of the organization as an employee.

Assessment methods and criteria
The minimum score to be obtained by a student according to the established forms of evaluation is 24 points. The maximum score that can be obtained by a student per semester is 40 points. The envisaged forms of semester evaluation cannot exceed 40 points in total. The maximum final grade for this course can be 100 points.
A student is not admitted to the exam if he / she scored less than 24 points during the semester, did not complete an individual task and scored less than 4 points for a test conducted by a lecturer.
A student can score a maximum of 60 points for an exam, to which the points scored by a student during the semester are added. To score an overall positive assessment for the discipline, the score for the exam should not be less than 36 points. If a student scored less than 36 points for an exam, the latter is not added to the semester score.
