Learning outcomes
Achievements by students such competencies, skills and abilities as: use advanced knowledge and methods in the process of lawmaking and law enforcement of private law institutions; substantiate the legal position at different stages of law enforcement; have practical skills in solving problems related to the implementation of procedural functions of law enforcement agencies; integrate the necessary knowledge and solve complex problems of law enforcement in various areas of professional activity.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and development of civil law institutions, general principles of legal regulation of property and personal non-property civil relations, acts of civil law. Be able to freely operate with the conceptual and categorical apparatus in the field of civil law and to conduct the acquired knowledge in scientific research.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting a deep doctrinal analysis of current issues of the general part of civil law, used in research. The discipline studies the methodological principles of civil law, sources of civil law, the concept, content and classification of civil law, the institution of legal entity, the concept and system of legal facts in civil law, transactions and its invalidity, institutions of protection and liability in civil law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: reports and research papers - from 6 to 7 points; express questioning - from 1 to 4 points; colloquium - from 3 to 4 points; testing - from 6 to 7 points; discourse - from 2 to 6 points; two module tests - from 3 to 6 points for each (total: from 6 to 12 points). The following are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the response; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results. Missing for good reason seminars students can work in extracurricular time (during the teacher's consultations) through oral interviews, testing, preparation of scientific reports. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may be excluded from the final assessment.
